​Humanities and Philosophy​​​

The mission of the Humanities and Philosophy program is to equip you with the tools to critically examine the interplay between artistic, philosophical, historical, political, religious, and cultural issues as factors influencing humanity and the spectrum of human expression. The program strives toward building and strengthening your understanding of cultures within and outside of the United States.

The program offers a guaranteed transfer associates degree (AA-T) in Social Justice/Ethnic Studies as well as associates degrees in Ethnic Studies and Humanities & Philosophy. See Degree Information. ​​​

You will also have an understanding and appreciation of the contributions and perspectives of prominent women and men, including those from diverse ethnic, socioeconomic, sexuality, disability, and religious backgrounds.
